在欧足联官网所公布的12家顶级赞助商中，中资背景企业4席：分别为海信、支付宝、vivo和TikTok。这些顶级赞助商享有的是全球范围内的曝光和传播权益。中国因此成为本届欧洲杯顶级赞助商最多的国家，历史上首次占据三分之一顶级赞助商席位。 据报道，本届比赛的赞助商体系分为3级，第1级是6家欧洲足联国家队的官方赞助商，合约通常在4年到8年，支付宝、海信属于这个层级；第2级是6家本届赛事的官方赞助商，合约暂时只签到本届赛事结束，抖音、Vivo属于这一级；第3级是官方授权的商品制造商。 报道指出，赞助商享有的权益及在赛事中全球的曝光和传播根据级别各有不同，要想成为为期4年的欧洲杯顶级赞助商，需要提供3.75亿元人民币的赞助。但看好后续的广告效益，中国企业砸钱不手软。 本届欧洲杯12家顶级赞助商（第一级和第二级）　　不过，这一景象在部分欧洲媒体眼中，却是无法接受的。德国《商报》18日发文提出了质疑：“中企在足球赛场投广告让人怀疑”、“欧足联过度贪婪”、“钱从哪里来看起来并不重要”…… 　　《商报》称，在2020年欧洲杯因疫情被推迟后，欧足联开始不遗余力地吸引赞助商和合作伙伴，可当德国队和法国队在慕尼黑竞技场展开“死亡之组”的焦点大战时，却发现12家顶级赞助商中只有大众汽车这一家欧企，除了4家中企外，其余的则来自美国、俄罗斯和阿拉伯世界。 　　“欧足联确实发挥了一些好的作用，比如在国际理解、人权、宽容和反种族主义等方面。但这些钱从哪里来？赞助商和‘欧洲价值观’并无多少共同点。” 报道中，《商报》还为德国安联保险集团（Allianz）“鸣不平”，称德甲豪门拜仁慕尼黑的主场安联球场，本届欧洲杯将承办4场比赛，在欧足联的要求下，赛事期间球场不能被称呼为原名，而是改称“慕尼黑竞技场”，球场外露出的“Allianz”字样也已被拆除。 　“中国企业的集中出现引发了更多问题，本次赛事展示了远东赞助商的‘宣传大杂烩’，有时候，中国汉字甚至都会在欧洲观众的眼前闪亮。”报道援引一名媒体评论员的话，如此写道。
