WS-15 for J-20 一般而言，战斗机推重比越大，机动性能越好。 要想比较歼-20与F-22两款战机的推重比，就需要计算出这两款战机在标准空战状态下的起飞重量。根据公开的资料显示，F-22战机空重为19吨，最大载油量10吨，在半油5吨的情况下，内置弹仓可以挂在6枚AIM-120D以及2枚AIM-9X型空空导弹，这八枚空空导弹的总重为1.14吨。在标准空战状态下，F-22战机的起飞重量为25.14吨。F-22战机搭载有两台F-119-PW-100发动机，该型发动机最大推力为15.9吨，两台能够提供31.8吨的推力，通过计算得知在标准空战状态下 F-22战机的推重比为 1.26 (31.8/25.14)。 虽然我国歼-20战机机长达到了21.2米，翼展13.01米，在体型上要大于F-22战机，但是得益于后发优势，歼-20战机机体采用了大量的复合材料，且采用了锻造工艺，一些关键部件甚至采用了3D打印技术，空重仅为17吨，较体型更小的F-22战机轻了足足2吨。在标准空战模式下，歼-20战机同样取半油5吨，内置弹舱满弹可以挂载6枚霹雳-15以及2枚霹雳-10E空空导弹，这8枚空空导弹的总重约为1.4吨，此时歼-20起飞重量为23.4吨。WS-10C发动机单台的最大推力为14.5吨，两台最大能提供29吨的推力，通过计算可以得知在标准空战状态下，歼-20战机的推重比为1.24，基本上已经追平了F-22战机。 WS-15全称涡扇15"峨眉" 涡扇发动机，是为我国第四代重型/中型战斗机而研制的小涵道比推力矢量涡扇发动机。WS-15主要用于双发重型隐身战斗机歼-20。WS-15由606所、624所、614所、410厂、430厂和113厂等单位专家组织研制。"峨眉"航空发动机的技术验证机在2006年5月首次台架运转试车成功。这标志着我国在自主研制航空发动机的道路上又实现了历史性跨越，在研制我国第四代中型战斗机的征程上迈出了坚实的一步。2011年中航黎明完成了ws-15验证机的交付。保节点是2020年完成研制。 所以公道点讲，性能上略逊美国上世纪八十年代的技术。基本追平俄罗斯发动机技术，在国际上目前应该是保三争二的地位，但，二.三名和第一名差距不是一点半点……正视差距，航空发动机事业超俄赶美的目标要靠新生代零零后去实现了！ 峨眉山，位于中国四川省峨眉山市境内，是中国四大佛教名山之一
