Spain fall to Georgia in final friendly ahead of Euro 2016
Spain will head into Euro 2016 on the back of an embarrassing defeat as Vicente del Bosque’s side were beaten 1-0 at home to Georgia.
The 2010 world champions are one of the favourites to lift the title in France but their final warm-up match ended in humiliation after Tornike Okriashvili fired Georgia to a shock victory in Madrid.
Georgia sit 137th in the FIFA world rankings, 131 places below Spain’s star-studded squad, but mistakes at the back and indecision up front ended their 11-game unbeaten streak.
