To mark start of construction of Nevs’ New energy vehicle factory in China, and the establishment of a R&D-center, a groundbreaking ceremony will be held in Tianjin June 28.
The Tianjin manufacturing plant will be Nevs’ second global production base focused on EVs, initially for the Chinese market. Nevs’ research, development and production will be managed from its headquarters in Trollhättan.

Tianjin, home of Xiali and Huali, FAW Toyota, Tianqi Meiya, and related suppliers, is a town with a seasoned car making culture, and so NEVS should find a good fit there.

【第一电动网】(专栏作者 田永秋)5月28日,股市刚一收盘,满眼满脸都冒着绿光的资深天津小股民Alfred走出证券公司的大厅,抬头望了望旁边已超过500米但还没封顶的号称中国北方第一高楼的天津高银金融117大厦,长长地出了一口气。虽然网上都在铺天盖地得学习雷锋精神,义务将北上广深的所有知名的高楼的高度、位置等信息详细列出,专供给广大重仓股民。Alfred丝毫不为所动,骑上那辆老“凤凰”,头也不回地径直朝其租住的位于滨海新区的地下室走去,此刻Alfred心里惦记的,已不是那股票大厅绿绿的K线大屏幕,而是昨天自行车筐里收到的一则招聘小广告:瑞典一家电动车公司计划在滨海新区投资建厂了,而大规模招聘活动也即将开始。
小广告上所列的公司,正是三年前收购瑞典萨博汽车剩余破产资产的国能电动汽车瑞典公司(NEVS),而他们计划位于天津滨海新区的合资汽车工厂,也就是刚刚秘密“签约”的国能电动汽车(天津)公司。兵马未动,粮草先行,八字还没一撇的国能天津公司的招聘工作已提到议事日程上来了。
瑞典时间5月27日上午11点整,NEVS CEO Mattias Bergman召开新闻发布会,宣布NEVS公司股权初步变更信息,天津滨海高新技术产业开发区(THT)和北京国研信息科技有限公司(SRIT)正式成为NEVS的股东。其中天津滨海新区地方政府投资2亿美元(折合人民币12亿元)收购NEVS 30%的股份,正式成为NEVS的小股东之一。天津与NEVS双方已签署了股权认购协议,首批款项4000万美元已于5月27日到账。双方还计划在天津滨海新区建设合资新工厂,在全新的合资自主品牌下生产纯电动汽车。天津工厂将成为NEVS除了瑞典特洛海坦原萨博汽车生产基地外的第二个工厂,所产车型主要面向中国市场销售。而瑞典特洛海坦工厂将面向除中国以外的其他国际市场销售。同时,NEVS还计划在天津成立电动汽车研发中心,首款电动汽车将基于NEVS现有的电动汽车技术打造,“我们”将“充分利用天津配套完善的汽车供应链体系”,打造“高品质”的电动汽车。NEVS天津后续还计划推出基于NEVS未来“凤凰”平台打造的新型多样化电动车。而另一家股东北京国研信息科技有限公司(SRIT),将以其自身在“IT软件服务、车联网和新能源汽车方面的独特技术优势”,为NEVS打造面向未来的“互联网汽车和无人驾驶汽车方面”提供帮助。
