How to use Paint.Net to add a PART of an image into another image. First, do selection: open the small image into paint. Use Ellipse Select to select the part of the image File -> New Layers -> Add new layer Now you have two layers in this new image Di-select the background layer by clicking on the checkbox in Layers window.
