The new F3 looks way better than the old F3, might be again a great success for BYD.

Rports in Chinese media indicate that BYD will drop the old ‘F3′ completely, the new car will so be called ‘BYD Su Rui’. It will be launched on the China car market in late August.

Buyers will be able to choose between two different engines: a naturally aspirated 109hp 1.5 mated to a five-speed manual or the new 1.5 turbo ‘TID’ engine mated to a 6-speed DCT.

新车先期将会推出1.8L自然吸气和1.5T两款发动机。其中，与1.5T发动机搭配的是一台6速手动变速器和一台6速DCT双离合变速器。这款1.5Ti直喷涡轮增压发动机已经搭载在比亚迪G6身上，拥有113kw/5200rpm的最大功率及240Nm/1750-3500rpm的峰值扭矩，远超过搭载在高尔夫上的1.4TSI，账面数据十分可观。限于DCT双离合变速器的生产原因，DCT双离合变速器车型需等到明年下半年才会择时推出。
