China is the largest market of BMW cars (2019: 723,680 units)
2019: The entire BMW Group accounts for an increase of 1.2 percent compared to a year earlier. This requires the sale of 2,520,307 vehicles. The vast majority comes from the parent brand BMW itself. Because 2,168,516 customers bought a new BMW, that brand is good in itself for an increase of 2.0 percent.
Europe remains the largest market for BMW with 1,081,563 cars (-1.5 percent), of which 331,370 BMWs and Mini’s were German-owned. However, Asia follows quickly with a share of 923,999 cars (+ 5.6 percent).
China is by far the most popular Asian country with 723,680 new owners.
