Volkswagen ID.R: new record at Tianmen Mountain, China

Tianmen Mountain is a mountain that can be conquered by car via a 99 hairpin bend road. The 10.966 kilometer stretch of asphalt shot through in 7 minutes and 38.56 seconds under the wheels of Volkswagen ID.R, driven by French driver Romain Dumas. This gives the plug-in-tear nose a new record. The car reached a top speed of 230 km / h on the winding stretch of asphalt.
