奔腾T99于9月19日正式下线。奔腾T99与红旗HS5出自同一平台，但它与红旗HS5的定位却完全不同。在红旗家族中HS5定位中型SUV，在它之上还有还有HS7。而在奔腾家族中T99的定位却是中大型SUV，已经是家族旗舰了。
